The various driveshaft bolts were listed by Triumph as special numbers, not standard hardware (p/n 132023 for driveshaft, 144961 for propshaft). There is no dimensional difference between these bolts

Why put yourself through the pain? Any major center will have a shop that deals strictly with U-joints and propshafts. For a little money you can have u-joints installed and the propshaft balanced.

You can put the bearings back into the cup. They stand upright against the wall of the cup. All in there should be little if no gaps between the bearings. Pack the bearings with some grease, enough

You're correct. Not that difficult a job. Got my UJ's from VB and they fit fine, i.e. no grinding, cups went in to where they were supposed to be, circlips engaged the grooves. Good luck. Dennis 75 S
