Hi Dave, The windshield frame to post screws are good ol' 10-24 thread, but good luck drilling them out. The drill will wander off into the aluminium sure as you are born... The toggle clamp stud is

Drilling these out is not likely to work. As someone else has noted the bit will slip off the steel into the Al. I would suggest shopping around to replace the post. There is likely someone on this
