Do any listers have an idea why neither headlamp motor on a TR8 won't run the lamps up? I hear the motor relays clicking and have checked the connections in the front end. A consideration is the circ

So, the relays are working, though its unlikely that they both fail at the same time, its possible. Check that the wire going to the motors is not broken, check for dodgy earth at the motor and check

When you dip your lights the beam is pointed away from oncoming traffic so if you use RHD lamps on a LHD traffic system you will dazzle oncoming traffic, and get a fine from the police. RHD lamps poi

Think about it. In England you drive on the left, so it would stand to reason that your lenses would dip to the left whereas on the right, the lenses refract to the right. This would minimize glare

On no, you only do that if ship you car to the other side of the equator, like Austrailia for example. About what I said before, you have LH and RH lamps in your car, these can be swaped all you want

We fitted the 60/55 kit to my 1500 Spitfire without any trouble. (They also do a 100/80 kit but this needs a relay.) Until April this year I did 50 miles per day and the new lights made a great deal
