Has anybody successfully removed the banjo bolt from the rear of a GT6 or intake manifold? I am guessing that whacking it a few times with a BFH and then applying heat before leaning on it with a 1/2

I have not, but I can report that leaning on it is a sure way to break it. It's very fragile, breaking it may well be the only way to remove it. On the last one I worked on, after breaking the bolt

I didn't have any luck removing mine in one piece either. The space between the head of the bolt and the threads is the weakest part, it's thin, probably corroded, and has several holes in it. Mine w

It's hollow and has holes in the side. It goes through a banjo fitting, which is circular and surrounds the bolt, so liquid or gas can flow from inside whatever the bolt is screwed into, through the
