I pulled the pinch bolt out. It looks OK except possibly a little bent. PO had a nyloc nut on it with flat washers. The machined area around the splines is a little worn. I can detect no play in the

Do not cheap out on this spot. Use a new bolt, grade 5 at least and a nyloc nut. 1/4 x 28 as per OEM. No 1/4 x 20 stainless bolts here please. If this bolt loosens up or the nut comes off, the bolt w

I used a 1/4 x 20 grade 5 with a nyloc nut and loctite. I did buy a 1/4 x 28 and didn't use it cause the one I took out was 20 tpi. I can change it though. If I pin it per Peter C's recommendation sh
