Rex and Dick both advised my recent rebuild of may clutch may now have a
broken tapered pin that attaches the clutch
fork, while I'd like to believe this isn't true, I'm back to pulling out
the interior and transmission on Saturday and replace it (I keep telling
myself 'this is a hobby'). The slave cylinder is on the correct side of the
transmission. Given I 'really' don't want to go through this drill for the
third time - what has others done on the list to ensure this weak spot (as
Rex calls it) is truly dealt with. In addition to the pin has anyone welded
the fork to the shaft or taken the shaft and fork to a machine shop and had
a larger pin made?

Charlie
