You did not say which position you are on, just pull the pin, and drop down
one.
Don't bother putting in cotter till you know this has made the difference, if
not go to the top position.
>From old or new, when clutch peddle is pressed, you can hear the assembly
slightly, as it turns.
Also even if bleed right, full pressure can be lost, do to a faulty MC, even
on a new or rebuild there can be a slight void or imperfection on the rubber
plunger.
A few quick taps on top, can get pressure back,,,,,, temporarily, but at
least you would then know this to be one of your problems.
