Ryan---If you purchased the metal, original type anti-squeal shims, they
go between the calipers and the brake pads. Note there is an arrow
stamped into them that shows the direction they should face, towards the
front of the car. It will probably be necessary to take a blunt tool to
wedge between the rotor and the brake pad. Pushing the pad towards the
caliper will move the piston back, and give the necessary clearance for
inserting these shims. Note also there are two holes in each shim for
the locating pins, that also go thru the brake pads and caliper
castings.

(If you have the tinfoil anti-squeal shims that are supposed to stick on
the back side of each of the pads, lots of luck)!

Pump the brake pedal a few times to move the pads back out to the
rotors. If they still squeal, see my  recommendation for this in another
post.
