I had the same issue when I replaced mine - a very loose fit. I placed 
the visor in a vice (with some protective cloth) and applied some 
pressure. I did this in small increments so as to not totally crush the 
tube. The driver's side is perfect, but the passenger side needs one 
more "crank". Definitely a big improvement though...
