The report.
Rebuilt a .70 (correct for '70, '71) master cylinder.
Replaced steel pipe and replaced red flex pipe with braided flex pipe
Replaced slave with the "extended throw slave"
Replaced clutch slave fork (it was worn) with adjustable fork
DOT 5 and speed bleeder.
Result
Bleeding; filled master and allowed gravity to work for about 20 minutes
then speed bleeder made it a cinch 1 man job.
Clutch pedal effort is less and clutch engages much more quickly
With extended throw slave and 1/8" added to fork length I moved seat back a
notch for comfort.
No need to tip-toe clutch pedal
When I drained system there was black goop probably from deteriorated
rubber.
