Paul,
"Aircraft Stripper" is the best and it will remove a thin layer of the
bondo and the paint. Actually, I want to remove the old body filler,
because I want to know why the filler was applied. I usually find repair
work that is not up to my standards and the steel usually needs to be
replaced. When using the paint stripper, try to avoid flicking old paint
onto your skin. Have a bucket of water nearby to clean any paint remover
from your skin, wear gloves and an old long sleeve shirt.
