This is right to the point. Excellent advice. I'm not sure about Alpines,
but many LBCs originally had some sort of venting to get the cold clean air
to the carbs that time and GDPOs may have removed without a trace. The new
stuff, which can be decoratively placed, will do the trick and make a
measurable difference in economy and performance. Get some 4" or 5" diameter
flexible ducting and route it so that it provides clean cool air to the
carbs without any ram-air effect.
