Brent,
One time my friends car was experiencing a problem with it popping out
of gear and a lot of vibration. We pulled the transmission to replace
the clutch and to fix the transmission problem. I then noticed the pilot
bearing was extremely worn. So we replaced it with the new clutch and
reinstalled the transmission (without an inspection). It worked and
drove great. So, you might check these minor things too.
