The Wendover course is fun but they keep recycling the same basic design
(and sometimes the exact same pylon locations) year after year. Sure it's
fun the first time but after running the same course 5 times it gets old. I
sure hope they do something different this year but I am not expecting
anything new.

WRT the night life it's great if you like gambling but not so hot if you
are not into it. Unlike Las Vegas or Reno there are few, if any, of the
shows and other activities you find elsewhere. Also unlike Las Vegas or
Reno they don't offer big discounts on room prices (rooms are $80 and up at
the casinos) and you'll pay more for Saturday night over Friday to boot.
IMHO while I realize the logistics that brought us back there this year
(and in the middle of summer too!) I would much rather have an event in SFR
or San Diego than in Wendover. Now if Utah region could find a site in Salt
Lake City, that would get me excited but Wendover leaves me underwelmed,
sorry.
