Try auctions in your local area
to find cheap shop machines.

Don't go the route of the multi purpose
machines as they are a pain. Also
if you do it right you can buy a good
used unit with all the tooling.

Remember that the machine is only 1/2
of the cost.  The other 1/2 is wrapped
up in tooling.
