I think a PT Cruiser would be a really nifty streeter.

As an autocross car, it would be a really bad idea.  The
center-of-mass-height to wheel-track ratio is all wrong.  Application of a
several several-quadrillion-ton planet to the roof is not the best way to
customize a car.

Sure, the handling feels good at sensible levels of cornering for street
use.  But put on some stickies and press it to its limits, and you'll be
flirting with disaster.  Some people get a charge out of that sort of thing,
but not me.  I want my car to slip and slide at the limit, not flip.
