OK, I can handle that but the example I presented is in numerical order,
there are just 3 series of numbers in order. And really it strikes me as a
good solution to the the 2 driver problem (At least for classes that are
large enough to have enough cars to make up 5 minutes worth of runs between
the first and second drivers).

Not really because your clarification doesn't match up with what was
written. Let me break it down as I see/read it and maybe someone can tell
me where I am misinterpreting it.
That's why I asked. It's not clear to me.

Which is different than I ever remember it being done anywhere, but is how I
am interpreting the verbiage as presented. It really makes sense to do it
that way too if you think about it. Like John and Eddie. If they were to
just go in order there would only be 5 cars between their runs (99,
115,133, 134, 175) , doing it this way there are about 20 cars between runs
and the 5 minute rule will be easy to meet and driver changes will go
smoothly and the grid marshall should have fewer problems. It's different
than it has ever been done before so there will be some resistance and
confusion, but I think it works out better.
