Just got back from the awards banquet... lots of fun as usual. Driver of
Eminence went to Mark Daddio, Solo Cup went to a couple I don't know but
apparently they line up to be the first ones on site every year, Johnson
Spirit of the Sport award (with the sheep dressed in purple PJs) went to
Big Dick Berger.
Trophies collected: Arie 2nd in DSP, Ben 5th, Rick M 6th. Jesus 1st in CP
(yay!). Rick Q something quite high in GS. Pam Kannan 1st in DPL, Chris
3rd or 4th in DP?. Kevin pretty darn good in GS but obviously not what he
wanted (but they did get the new tranny in for today). Hmmm, who
else?? Hmmm, can't think...
The north course is eating people alive. It's quite complex and apparently
if you get behind on it, it will bite you for the rest of the course. The
south course favors horsepower as a V6 camaro did well in GS and the
Capri's well in DSP, etc. etc. I start on the south tomorrow which is good
cuz I think I'll do better on the technical north course the next day.
Seems a lot of people are leaving tomorrow, hope everyone gets home safely!
