Ther deal is Jim Leithauser wanted to compete at the Mid-Ohio Runoffs and
he moved to California fairly late, well after most of the SoPac Nationals
had been held. So he joined SF Region and is running our Nationals to
qualify. At the Laguna Seca National he--and his BMW -- made a last-lap
pass of Tom McCarthy (Acura GSR) at Turn 11 that had the pit crowd
cheering.
