You are a brave man, I don't know whether I'd have the guts to
dump the clutch at 8,000 RPM!

The VFR 750 and Magna engines are mostly the same with the same
block, pistons, heads, displacement, etc.  The primary
differences are carbueration, cam timing, and ignition timing.
The Magna has more torque and a flatter torque curve; the VFR-750
gets its torque at high RPM, has a higher redline, and has more
horsepower.
