Thanks to all for the responses regarding my questions on Koni shocks. I had 
no idea it would generate quite so many.

In my case, I will probably try my luck with a warranty claim. I'm also 
wondering if the stock valving is simply insufficient for the stock spring 
rates on the second gen RX-7's -- these things wore out way too fast.
