How is this happening? I always thought a person had to turn in some kind of
collateral, such as his drivers license, when borrowing a helmet.
Not that we don't trust people, but often times they stuff the helmet
somewhere in the car and forget about it.

BTW, jaded as I am, I still find it appalling that the loaner helmets, which
we not only went to the expense and effort to buy, but also to paint in
presumably unattractive colors, are been stolen so quickly by (again
presumably) our novice drivers. You know, the ones we're not doing enough to
encourage and help.
I'm very much looking forward to finding one located somewhere other than a
event site.
