Reread your post - do you really want to mix pad types front and
rear? This would effectively change your front/rear braking bias,
possibly in unpredictable ways, particularly if the temperature
requirements of f/r pads are quite different. If you put the
high-friction EBC Greenstuff in back, you'll now have two pedals
to use to get your tail out....

i need a set of rear pads for the cobra.  i was going to get
carbotech
panthers, but the lead time is too long (they dont stock them)

any other types to try? looking for some heat capacity for track
schools,
but its got to have some bite for autocross and street.  ive used
the
porterfield R4S also, which worked well on my slower and heavier
rx7.

are the 'carbon' pads the thing for dual use now?
