we've handled up to 270+ entries with the current reg system.  it was
daylight that was the bottleneck then, not reg.

what id prefer is a remote electric shock system to get workers to report on
time! :) j/k, i think!

also, tech on grid tends to hold up the event because its not out of the way
before the grid forms, and we dont have the concept of 'late on grid'
anymore so people show up at the last second.  so i consider the old version
to be more efficient, but also more trouble because you have to have a
separate area for tech, plus stand in line with your car.
