Tanner uses a product from Germany called WindsorFlex Plus Urethane. I'm
sure he could tell you ad nauseum why he use that. It's $20 a tube (regular
caulking tube, 10 oz..) and covers approx. 13 linear feet.

A vacuum hose goes to the headlight switch also, besides the emergency
switch. The tube to the headlight switch might be crimped or blocked
somehow or the headlight switch may be working improperly in the vacuum
mechanism even though it is working electrically.

Mine used to do the same. I replaced my wiper motor a few years ago by
bringing in the old one to a parts shop I use. Now they work properly,
although the two speeds are close to the same. The web site has the

Mine is not even fiberglass - it's just plastic. I know there is a
replacement center console available that has a glovebox. Check with the
parts suppliers on the web site to find one

Mine comes out easy. I have four screws along the bottom edge (2 per side).
The door switches have 6 electrical connectors and the lock switch has two.
In my case, I can pull the switches out enough to disconnect the wires from
the outside, instead of under the console. (See drawing at

w_F.gif) Then remove to emergency brake handle and slide the console off of
the brake handle using the widest part of the console's slot.
