I saw someone a few years ago build a box to mount the front
speakers down in the foot area right behind the stereo on the
center stack. It looked pretty good, but the speaker size was limited.
I set up my system by building a box that sits in the rear, right
behind the seats. I used the speakers in the box as my "rear"
speakers and ran the 6" speakers as my "fronts."
Attached is a pic of how it came out.
