I am sorry for your trouble. It is unfortunate that UPS is so rotten in
Canada. They have served me well here in the USA with only one exception:
It used to be that if I was not home when they arrived, they would leave a
note telling me I could pick the stuff up at their local office. This was
OK by me. They don't do that now, but leave the package. When they left
it in a neighbor's junk car, I had had enough. I now have everything sent
to the office, as there is always someone there to take it.
On stuff sent USA -> USA, we don't get jacked around with extra
charges. What is UPS service like on stuff sent Canada -> Canada?
My only international experience is with parts England -> USA. Daytune
has sent it by Royal Post. I have sometimes had the US Postal Service
collect extra fees and sometimes not. Dunno why.
