I managed to stop at the Street Rod show in Knoxville, TN last Friday (any
car show in a storm or somesuch). Lots of fancy cars (some 2600 or so
according to advertising!) but I saw at least one of interest to this
group.
Someone here mentioned the need for a family brit car. Well at the
show was a nice '48 MG something-or-other sedan. In true street rod
tradition, it had a small V8 engine installed, but otherwise looked
basically stock. It was for sale -- about $4k I think. Cheap
compared to most which were for sale.
Anyone on the list from the Knoxville area? I'll be traveling there
for work a few days per week for the next month or so and would enjoy a
