This query is intended for our UK recipients to see if they can
provide any current information as to the status of STIR.
STIR - Standard Triumph International Rallye
STIR was the brainchild of John Davy and the name was applied
on a rotating basis to an annual major Triumph gathering in
the UK and elsewhere. It was associated with several Vintage
Triumph Register national conventions in the past.
The question today is: Is there an annual STIR event going on
today, in the UK or anywhere else?
Does anyone know who the current STIR contact might be?
My recollection is that a STIR event was last held several
years ago associated with a Triumph gathering that year in
the Netherlands.
Any help would be appreciated.
