Ahhh, But I hear from a reliable source that we had our fingers
crossed when we signed the treaty. So I presume its just a matter of
time before we ask for the BSA (British States of America) back :-)

Ob brit car content :

Colin Chapman when he was just starting to build cars needed a cheap
engine from somewhere. So he found a suitable donar vehicle in a scrap
yard. The scrappie wanted 30 pounds for it, Colin at this point was broke
but had an idea. He went to another friend who bought and sold cars
and offered him the donar vehicle without engine but with the registration
documents for 40 pounds. Oh and could he borrow some cash - say 30 pounds.

The second scrappie agreed, Colin bought the car, took the engine, sold
it to the 2nd scrappie and gave him 5 pounds as thanks.

Somehow Colin chapman came out of this with the engine he wanted and
five pounds up .....

This wheeling and dealing skill was apparently typical....

Cheers,

Oh and have a good 4th July in the States, well have a good 4th July
everywhere.
