I don't know if there is any similarity between the TR6 and 1275 Spridget
clutch setups, but I had a very similar experience with my Midget. I
must confess that I installed the release fork backwards during reassembly.
Everything went together fine, I bled the clutch, and nothing ...

When I took it back apart, (engine and transmission must come out together),
I found that the release fork has a small offset to it, and that I had the
fork in backwards. It was possible to assemble the release fork mechanism in
more than one way. I reversed the fork, reassembled everything, bled the
clutch and I was back in business.

A lesson learned, and one that I will always remember.
