As a kid, I only remember seeing Anglias in magazines like "Hot Rod". They
always had some huge, supercharged Ford or Chevy engine that stuck well into
what was once the passenger compartment. As I recall, the scoop for the
supercharger usually popped up right in the middle of the windshield.
What was it about Anglias that made them such favorites for the drag strip
crowd? Was it just me?
