Just a short note. The newest R380 is very difficult to obtain directly
or indirectly. The company prefers to sell this version along with a new
engine only at the moment. There are those advertising "new" R380's
which are in fact rebuilts or salvaged. Buyer beware.

Also, it is impossible to obtain a R380 from a US source under an
amazing 3700US though Rimmer in the UK has new boxes at 1500 pounds
(though they too have the newest R380  "back ordered"). Problem is with
transport to the US, (about 200 pounds) duties and taxes you end up in
the same price range.

One can always call Autogear in the UK and pick up a guarranteed older 5
speed 2x4 for 380 pounds and 150 pounds transport).
