cv joints

I still think it seems odd that cv's aren't available for the Elan that
don't require limit straps. It would seem with todays small cars that it
would be possible to find short enough axles from a production car. With the
additional deflection required for steering, it would seem an Elan would not
be any worse. 

Anyone run cv's that don't need droop limits?
