I also like antique Custard Glass. A fellow glass collector
had bid $350 on something that I really wanted. I did not bid
against her, as it was a friend... but would have gone to $500
on the item.
Guess what happened, someone else got the item at $380. Sigh.
Moral: If you want it badly enough... bid!
