I have a set of Suzuki Swift GTI seats that I really like but have not
yet tried to adapt them to the roadster. They are very Recaro like and
you don't see them every day. They are from an early 1990's car and can
be found cheap. If they don't fit in the Roadster I am hopeful that
they will fit in the "Z". If anyone wants more info I can take some
pictures and measurements. I welcome any help from the list as to
whether these will work or not and how I can mount some seat rails to
them. The stock rails make the seat way too tall. E-mail me off list as
I get the digest version so that I can scroll over all the crap that is
flying around the forum.

I'm curious as to why the Miata seats are the only ones suggested as
alternative seats. Are they significantly cheaper and/or superior to
having the stock seats redone? Anyone try other sportscar (like Porsche)
or aftermarket seats?

Thank you.
