starting procedure

To all the engine guru's out there.

I am ready to fire up the 67.5 2L  that I have been working on and I was
wondering if anyone had a starting procedure that worked for them.  The motor
has been rebuilt an is stockw/ solex carbs and an A cam.  Gary boone's dizzy
etc..

I just don't want to screw anything up.

I need to set the timing, bolt down the distributor,put in fluids etc. I just
would like a check list and some potential things to look for before I do it.
