Other than costs of putting on the actual track event,
what costs exist of any significance.  Seems to me the
bulk of any organizational costs are mitigated today by
exactly the methods we are using now...namely internet
connectivity.  We'd not need any newsletters or other
expensive trappings of other organizations.  Frankly,
I'd expect any actual track event to be fully covered
by registrations and/or sponsor money (but better to
NOT expect sponsor money initially).

Yep, the pros and con of such an undertaking as part of 
another racing event.
