It's still a wonderful track. But one of the cool things about the
northwest is all the cool tracks. Pacific Raceways, Portland International
Raceway (I broke 1:19 in practice this morning with the chicane. Hope I
can do as well in qualifying), Thunderhill, buttonwillow, Sears Point
(Infinion) and Laguna. they're all in one-day forced march towing
distance.

Laguna is becoming much too restrictive for amateur racers IMHO. How
many FOT are prepared to meet a 90db noise standard and camp a mile from
their pits? Buttonwillow by contrast is one of the most racer friendly
tracks in the west, after all it's owned and built by racers...Just my
.02$. Steve

Laguna is simply too much fun. The corkscrew and turn nine have
converted
many a sinner.
