TR6 Intake manifold

I've got to get rid of my Webers for the TR6 this year and will have to
install SU or ZS on it.  I've an early head and can only find short manifolds
to fit it.  When I look inside I see the # 2 & 5 runners turn about 180
degrees before it enters the runner to the head.
I'm going to do a little cleaning of this manifold and was wondering if
anybody has any experience with these manifolds.
