I never have been to USA. I sometimes forget the size of your country. Would
be comparable to if I race in Germany and other racers are somewhere in the
Mongolia and we might never meet.

What you do in Germany is much the same as the dozen or so clubs in the USA
do.  Dinners, races and friends.  The Triumph groups though do not put on
races.  There are probably 20 different groups in the country that sanction
(insurance) and promote an event.  The clubs of drivers never does this.
They may be part, but not the sanctioning body.The FOT is just single people

that talk about what they are doing,  not a elected group, no voting, no
dues, no officers, no elections except for the second to become a member.
Remember this country is 3000 miles wide and 2500 miles deep. The race this
time in Portland, Oregon was put on by their local group which runs races in

that area of Washington-Oregon. Look on the map and check out the square
miles in just those two states. My trip up there was 1,228 miles, one way.
