Monte's still around. He came by and visited with me last weekend at PIR.
It was the opening SCCA regional. I had the Spitfire out to get my annual
tech and was working on some prep for the upcoming Double National at
Thunderhill when he stopped by. Monte normally drives a 935, but last year
ran against me in a couple of races in his HP Rabbit. Great guy and a very
good racer.
