We have no problems with the 356s or MGs on the West coast either.  911s and
Ginettas are in the next class up.

Hmm, when ever was a TR4 slower than a 356?
n Europe they are TR food.
GS are about the same speed as a TR4.
7 should be  faster but not always they are.
 never met a Ginetta in a race.
he Porsches 911S and TS are hard to beat.
I bet that the bigger rims are an advantage but they might require to do
hanges to the body work.
ender flares aren't allowed in Europe.

There is a discernible difference between a 6" and 7" rim on a 205 series
ire.  Any good driver (it's pretty common knowledge amongst the R-DOT SCCA
rowd) who has done testing will tell you this.  However, a 7" rim would
elp to make the TR4 more competitive against the Porshe 356's , the Kumho
  Toyo shod MGBs and those pesky 1000lb Super 7's and Ginetta's <hint:
