Greg,
I rented a 69 Jag E Type 2+2 in London a few years back from Love Classics, you
can find them online. We had a nice day cruising the Southern England country
side except that the number 3 SU was leaking worse and worse as the day went on
and boy could we smell it! Left handed shifting was surprisingly easy, driving
in London not so much. Not sure if there is a back seat for the kids but yours
might be too big anyway.
In the less thrilling category, we rented a 1970 something Citroen 2CV in Paris
last year from a company called the translation of â??4 wheels under an
umbrellaâ??. Although itâ??s often fading brake pedal was thrilling at times.
