I rented a 69 Jag E Type 2+2 in London a few years back from Love Classics,=
you can find them online. We had a nice day cruising the Southern England =
country side except that the number 3 SU was leaking worse and worse as the=
day went on and boy could we smell it! Left handed shifting was surprising=
ly easy, driving in London not so much. Not sure if there is a back seat fo=
r the kids but yours might be too big anyway.
In the less thrilling category, we rented a 1970 something Citroen 2CV in P=
aris last year from a company called the translation of =E2=80=9C4 wheels u=
nder an umbrella=E2=80=9D. Although it=E2=80=99s often fading brake pedal w=
as thrilling at times.
