Hi all,

Why go to the UK? Go to: http://www.ledcorp.com/

I made my own LED lights hard wired into the original bulb holder with
resistors for brake and turn. I decided to make my onw because I wanted
brighter LED's than what ledcorp has to offer, but they do sell them with
the 1157's.

Tom -

Your brake light switch is going bad. You need to
replace it. That's why you have to stomp on the pedal
to make the brake lights work.

Halogen rear tail lights always break, they are too
sensitive to handling with fingers. I've gone through
half a dozen myself to find a couple that work.

There are now LED tail lights available which I have
been looking into. There is even a chap in England
who makes high intensity LED 1157's in positive ground
if you can believe that! I'd suggest going that way
if you want to improve light coming out the back of
the car...the only thing with the LEDs is they may not
work with a standard flasher... you may need to keep
standard incandescent 1157s on your front turn
signals... unless you switch to a solid state flasher
like I have on my BJ8.

Good luck!
