Hi Greg,
I have often admired the new LED lamps used on buses and trucks, I have
also been amazed at just how quickly they have become more common that
the old type! Are the super bright LEDs available in the 1157 the base?

The 1157LEDs that I bought http://www.superbrightleds.com/ consisted of
19 LEDs on one 1157 type base and were definitely no brighter than the
old standard incandescent 1157s.

Hi Michael,
The traffic lights and busses in my area are all being converted to
LEDs, very visible in daylight. The new superbright LEDs are amazing
compared to what Radio Shack sells. When I made a new dashpad, I
installed 6 ambers underneath the overhang. They cast a nice glow where
before there was only darkness...

Best Regards,
Greg
