I agree with Mike Salter - the factory Workshop Manual is most useful, but
any of the others, if you can find them, would be much better than having
nothing - for the most part, they are copies of the essential stuff in the
factory literature, although each one will have some additional material
here and there, and each Healey owner will have a preference - hard to
really tell until you've got one in your hands!
I highly recommend John New's CD of the BJ7/BJ8 parts list (LBC digital) - I
have one, it is excellent! If you are of a mind, it wouldn't hurt to have a
printed copy as well. The parts lists illustrations are invaluable in
showing assembly details that are not in the workshop manuals - you really
should have both if you are working on a Healey.
I would contact Jerry Wall at AHC USA for more info - or - many of the
commercial Healey suppliers would have photocopies available for sale, as
well.
Do check out that CD!
