I had one on a Supra many years ago. Not only does it trap dirt which
scratches but the paint under the bra will not fade at the same rate as the
rest of the car. Within a year of using it, my white car was two tone where
the bra was installed. I wouldn't recommend using one.
Just my $.02
Pete

FWIW, there was just a discussion on the use of a bra on the E-Type list.
Consensus was that the bra will trap small bits (sand, dust, etc) under it
that will, over time, be abrasive to the paint. The flapping of the bra
can also damage the paint. My daughter uses one on her VW Cabrio--it has
affected the paint. None of my business, of course, just wanted to pass it
along.

Cheers
