Thanks for your comments. I have used these in the past and they are best used
if put on before trip and taken off immediately after trip. I picked up some
chips on the way to Stowe last year and just got the car sorted out again. I'd
like to keep it that way as much as possibly while still enjoying the ride

Oh yes: And no scratches from sand and grit nor any discoloration or paint
fade, though I do not normally leave the bra on for more than the duration of
the trip. And I have left it on for days after heavy rains and allowed it to
dry on the car with no misting or clouding of the paint (clearcoat), yada yada
yada. YMMV.
